A defining trait of the ICODE® SLIX lineage is its astute anticollision function, a beacon of technological prowess. This function empowers multiple tags to coexist harmoniously within the field, ensuring unobstructed and efficient tag identification, even when an assembly of tags congregates within the reading domain.
Within the ICODE® SLIX family, four distinguished ICs carve their niche: ICODE® SLIX, ICODE® SLIX 2, ICODE® SLIX-L, and ICODE® SLIX-S. Their distinction primarily hinges on the capacity of their Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM), which is instrumental in determining the available storage reservoir.
To add granularity to the selection process, it's noteworthy that while ICODE® SLIX, ICODE® SLIX 2, and ICODE® SLIX-L graciously embrace Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) selection and memory protection attributes, ICODE® SLIX, in contrast, forgoes these functionalities.
There are typical applications of HF library tag:
✓ Item-level tagging
✓ Counterfeit protection for retail products
✓ Asset tracking
✓ Document tracking, among others
